2022 Fleet Launch at Portland Yacht Services

The 2022 Fleet launch for J24s and Etchells will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 8-12 pm at Portland Yacht Services in Portland.

PYS invites any and all to bring their boats down Friday afternoon/evening to step their rigs and get ready. Please do not bring any boats down before 12 PM on Friday, May 13th.
PYS is requesting to launch all boats with the mast up. This allows folks to prep at their own pace and reserves the launch line for boats that are really ready to go.
PYS will not provide overnight dock space. All boats need to leave on Saturday the 14th. There will be plenty of dock space during the day Saturday to get boats prepped for travel.
Trailers and cars may obviously stay on-site while everyone is trekking back towards Falmouth. Please ensure all vehicles and trailers have left PYS by 6:00 PM Sunday.
The fee for launch will be $150.00 per boat. Please come with cash or a check to give to your fleet representative.
PYS will be asking each boat to sign a waiver prior to launch. This will essentially say that PYS is liable for its equipment and labor but that boat owners are on their own for self-inflicted damages (i.e. the boat owner's lifting strap fails).
More specific details about where to go on the property will be distributed before the launch.
